Ingredients
12 Mini Bocconcini Balls
12 Grape Tomatoes
12 Medium Fresh Basil Leaves
2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/4 teaspoon Finely Ground Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Balsamic Glaze
Instructions
- First drain out 12 mini Bocconcini and place in the small bowl.
- Next wash 12 grape tomatoes and add to the same bowl.
- Then add the Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the bowl.
- Now sprinkle the sea salt and black pepper.
- Using a spoon, mix together the ingredients.
- Now for the assembly….Take one of the mini Bocconcini balls and insert the skewer until the cheese is at the bottom.
- Next take one of the fresh basil leaves, fold it in half and insert the skewer through the middle of the folded basil leaf.
- Now take one of the grape tomatoes and insert on the skewer until it reaches the basil leaf.
- Next repeat this same step for a second set on the same skewer.
- Lastly, for the finishing touch, drizzle with some balsamic glaze.
