It has three main components: the bottom is called the boiler and this is where you put the water. Next is the funnel where you put the ground coffee. The top part is called the coffee collector and this is where the brewed coffee ends up.

- First fill the boiler with water up to the valve.
- Fill the funnel with ground coffee, but do not pack it down. You can purchase the coffee already ground or you can buy the whole beans and grind yourself.
- Twist the top on and place on the stove.
- Turn on the heat to max and when you hear the gurgling, the coffee is ready.
