This recipe starts with creating a round base using the Italian sausage meat. After creating the base, place in a preheated 350 Degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 minutes.
Next prepare the egg mixture while the base is cooking in the oven. To begin prepare the ingredients by chopping the roasted red peppers, green onions, provolone slices and fresh mint into small pieces.
Then using a medium-sized bowl, crack 6 large eggs and add in the salt and pepper.

It involves first making a chunky tomato sauce with onion, garlic, tomatoes, and extra virgin olive oil. And then seasoning the sauce with sea salt, fresh basil and fine ground black pepper.
Once the sauce is ready you add in 3 large eggs, cover with a lid until the eggs are cooked.
