How To Make Oven Roasted Tomatoes
First you will want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. After lining a 9 inch x 13 inch baking tray with parchment paper, wash the tomatoes. Cut them in half on the cutting board and place them on the parchment lined tray. Then, drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt and oregano. Arrange the tomatoes cut side up and place the tray in the middle rack of the oven.
After 30 minutes take the tray out of the oven and turn the tomatoes over. At this point the bottom of the tomatoes should have caramelized and be ready to turn over. If this has not happened yet, put them back in for a couple of more minutes before turning over.
Place the tray back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Finally, at about 40 minutes remove the tomatoes from the oven.
